Welcome to my website!

In late September I participated in my first outdoor market. It was an amazing experience, albeit a bit strange with everyone wearing masks and having to ask the shoppers to sanitize their hands before touching the merchandise. I got up early, and hit the road to Cumberland with my dear friend, Lisa. She was gracious enough to lend me a hand with set-up and tear-down, and she even brought the tent! We arrived to meet vendors and organizers who were cheerful and welcoming, and everything went as smoothly as could be expected. I left at the end of the day overwhelmed with joy. I'd received so much praise about my jewellery, and it felt good to know that my designs were appreciated. However, while I mingled and chatted with the shoppers, there was one question that kept coming up... "Do you have a website?"

Later that evening, I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that I didn't have a website. I had contemplated creating one earlier this year, but everything came to screeching halt as the global pandemic spread. I had no desire to create, nor to move forward with my business. But as summer came and went, my spirits lifted and my motivation returned. After the market in September, I was ready to get to work creating a website. It was a really fun learning experience, and made me realize just what goes into constructing a virtual store: product photography, determining shipping options, choosing packaging materials, naming products, and attempting to write captivating product descriptions. The list goes on and on! Honestly, there is so much background stuff that goes on and many details to consider. It was a truly enlightening experience that I won't forget. A turning point for Inspiring Adornments!

I've worked night and day (literally!) to bring you this site. I'm so proud to show you my hard work, and I truly hope you love it as much as I do.

Creatively yours,
